Edith graduated from Keele University (UK) with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in England as Senior Physiotherapist before returning to Hong Kong to start her Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and to join the Sportsperformance Physiotherapy team.
Her experience in the NHS consolidated her knowledge, clinical judgement and treatment techniques, and clarified her specific areas of interest, namely musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.
Sports have always been an important part of Edith’s life. From a young age she has participated in a number of sports including kayaking and badminton, more recently she has taken up snowboarding, which has become her favourite sport. She believes that sports are fundamental in helping people live happily and healthily.
