By plane / To and from airport

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) serves more than 100 airlines to provide connections to major cities throughout the world. It is well developed and supported by a comprehensive transport network, you can easily get to and from it by the following means.

 

The Airport Express (Approximately 30 minutes from HKIA to Central station.)

 

  1. Take the Airport Express to Hong Kong station, walk underground to Central station.
  2. Leave at Exit D1 of Central station onto Pedder Street.
  3. Turn right and walk approximately 10 metres to reach the side entrance of China Building.
  4. Take the lift to 8/F to reach our clinic.

 

Public Bus

 

There are numerous public bus routes taking passengers to and from most parts of Hong Kong.

 

  1. When you exit the Arrivals Hall, turn right to reach the Airport Ground Transportation Centre (Bus Terminals).
  2. Take the Citybus A11 route (busfare at HK$40), from HKIA to Central.
  3. Get off at Jardine House stop, Connaught Road Central.
  4. Walk backwards up onto a footbridge towards Worldwide House.
  5. From Worldwide House, cross Des Voeux Road Central onto Pedder Street.
  6. The China Building is on your right at the junction of Pedder Street and Queen's Road Central.

Taxi

 

Urban taxis (red) serve most destinations throughout Hong Kong. You can pick up a taxi at the Taxi Station, which can be reached by the left-hand ramp outside the Arrivals Hall.

It takes approximately 30 minutes from HKIA to Central, depending on the traffic condition and which cross harbour tunnel you choose. The taxi fare is approximately HK$300-350.

 

Hotel coaches and limousines

 

They are available to take passengers to major hotels in Hong Kong. You can approach their service counters inside the Coach Station of Terminal 2.

 

By train / To and from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau

If you are entering Hong Kong from Mainland China at the Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau checkpoint, you can take the local Mass Transit Railway (MTR) train. It takes approximately 1 hour from Lo Wu / Lok Ma Chau to Central at HK$44+. Click here for more detail.

 

MTR runs regular intercity through-train services between Guangdong Province, Beijing and Shanghai. The through train terminus is MTR Hung Hom Station on the Kowloon harbour-front, where travellers go through Hong Kong Immigration control to town after passing through Hong Kong Immigration.

By ferry / To and from Pearl River Delta ports

 

There are high-speed ferry services linking Hong Kong to the neighbouring ports in China.

 

Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal

 

This terminal is located at 202 Connaught Road Central, Central. (Sheung Wan MTR Station, Exit D) with the following ferry services:

 

Local transportation

Mass Transit Railway (MTR)

 

The MTR is very rarely affected by traffic jams and bad weather. It only takes a few minutes to wait for a train. The MTR runs from approximately 6am in the morning until 1am the following day, seven days a week, all 365 days of the year.

 

  1. Leave at Exit D1 of Central Station onto Pedder Street.
  2. Turn right and walk approximately 10 metres to reach the side entrance of China Building.
  3. Take the lift to 8/F to reach our clinic.

 

Bus Services

 

Hong Kong is well served by public bus routes, taking passengers to and from most parts of Hong Kong. Comfortable and relatively inexpensive, they offer a convenient transport option.

Ferry

 

In Hong Kong, the extensive network of ferry lines provide connections between Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the outlying islands and the New Territories. The major ferry piers are: Star Ferry Pier at Tsimshatsui and Central Ferry Piers at Central.


Star Ferry

The well-known Star Ferry serves routes between Tsimshatsui and Central / Tsimshatsui and Wanchai.

Discovery Bay Transportation

  3. Take a left turn and walk along Queens Road Central till you hit Diddell Street.
