Sweta is passionate about a healthy and active lifestyle. After graduating in India in 2008, she worked in both the public and private sector, developing extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She also has experience in treating neurological paediatric patients and adults who had suffered traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury.
After moving to Hong Kong, she completed her Master’s degree in manipulative therapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2016, which helped to develop further her assessment and treatment skills. She has also pursued her interest in assessment and management of women’s health issues, undertaking research in that field.
Sweta believes in treating her patients holistically, and that other factors such as emotional support are required for the patient to fully overcome physical pain. She encourages people to eat healthily and to break up their daily sedentary lifestyle with regular exercise . In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, running and Tai Chi.
