Charlottie Chan Physiotherapist Language spoken: English, Mandarin, Cantonese Charlottie is an internationally trained physiotherapist who began her career after graduating from Brunel University London with First-Class Honors in 2021. She built a robust clinical foundation by working for three years in one of the public hospitals in Hong Kong. Working across both inpatient and outpatient settings within the orthopaedic and surgical teams, she managed a diverse caseload—ranging from spinal conditions, hand injuries, and post-operative joint replacements to sports-related trauma—sparking her specialised interest in sports rehabilitation.
To elevate her practice, Charlottie furthered her studies in Australia with a Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy) from Curtin University in 2025. Through this advanced training, she mastered the critical skills required to handle acute injuries, facilitate return-to-sport, optimise athletic performance, and develop and implement an injury prevention program. During her time in Australia, she gained invaluable experience by providing on-field coverage for the Australian Football League (AFL) team, which further sharpened her skills in pitch-side support, acute triage, and designing comprehensive rehabilitation plans for high-performance athletes.
Charlottie deeply values patient-centred care. She believes that an individualised and specific treatment plan targeting personal goals is pivotal to achieving better long-term outcomes. She integrates her practice with an evidence-based exercise approach with manual therapy and acupuncture to support patients throughout their recovery journey.
Charlottie’s specialised focus on sports rehabilitation is complemented by her passion for volleyball. Having played since a young age, she intimately understands the physical and psychological hurdles individuals face during injury. When she isn’t on the volleyball court, you may find her training in the gym or catching some fresh air on a leisure run.
