Sarah Skea

Physiotherapist

Languages spoken: English

Originating from New Zealand, Sarah is starting to acclimatise to the tropical weather of Hong Kong after her four-plus years of living here. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with credit from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2016 and, since completing her training, has committed to continuing to develop her skills and training as a physiotherapist. Sarah has completed training in dry needling, DMA Clinical Pilates, the McKenzie method part A, and the Mulligan Manual Therapy Concept courses. She is a certified Mulligan Concept Practitioner (CMP) as a result. These courses are alongside various other courses completed as part of her ongoing professional development.  Sarah is a strong believer in lifelong learning and development and has further courses within her sights.

Sarah strongly believes in treating each patient as an individual, working alongside patients to achieve their goals whilst having a laugh along the way. She places a strong emphasis on building rapport with her patients and a strong emphasis on patient education, empowering individuals to actively participate in their recovery.

In her leisure time, Sarah can be found hiking, doing Pilates, sailing, swimming, and trying new recipes. She is slowly working on and is keen to increase her Cantonese vocabulary. She has achieved certification in scuba diving and is keen to explore new endeavours.
