As Simon trained for HYROX, he made significant adjustments to his routine:

  • Shifted Focus: Moved from traditional bodybuilding to compound movements.
  • Interval Training: Transitioned from long-distance runs to shorter, faster intervals to boost speed and aerobic capacity.
  • Track Workouts: Concentrated on sharp workouts since HYROX involves running 1 km segments.
  • Incorporated movement-based exercises: like lunges and squats
